The contents of the now defunct Heathrow Terminal 1 will soon be up for auction. This really includes nearly all of the interior’s pieces, from escalators over baggage belts to security cameras and iris scanners.

Why Is All of This Up for Auction?

As part of a big reconstruction and rebuilding project terminal 1 was shut down after over 50 years of service. Nothing should go to waste though, which is why CA Global Partners will be auctioning off nearly all of the terminal’s interior on April 21 – really the first auction of its kind.

Reportedly, a six-figure sum of sales is being anticipated and the whole auction really has enthusiasts and collectors in mind.
