Singapore Airlines has now officially presented its new Airbus A380 cabin design to the general public at a media launch in the airline’s home country. Whilst Economy and Business Class are exciting, the new Singapore Airlines Suites are really what you want to see.

Singapore Airlines Suites? What about First Class?

First Class has been ditched with the new cabin design. Instead, 343 Economy, 44 Premium Economy and 78 Business Class seats will be available together with six Singapore Suites – First Class taken to the next level.

As the name already suggests, a Singapore Suite is more of a room than a seat. As a result, seat and bed are now also no combination anymore. Each suite is kitted out with a separate bed together with a “plush leather chair”. The leather used is provided by Italian design specialist Poltrona Frau.

Moreover, a 32-inch swivelling Full-HD TV, mood lighting, a personal wardrobe and access to “two stylishly-furnished lavatories, one of which has a sit-down vanity counter” are provided.

For couples, two of the six suites offer optional double-beds.

There has been no word on pricing, but considering the USD850 million Singapore Airlines invested into the project, Singapore Airlines Suites will definitely have a hefty price-tag.
