It might not be noticed by the general public but the way how a Hamburg-based aeroplane test team contributed towards pre-Christmas celebration is very unique and therefore definitely worth sharing. The team basically “drew” a Christmas tree in the sky!

In the sky?

Well, obviously not in the sky but in the virtual sky if you will. In celebration of the upcoming Christmas festivities, a Hamburg-based aeroplane test team flew a route which could later be identified as a Christmas tree on the radar. But not only a rough outline was drawn, the tree even has decorations and a trunk! It nearly stretches out over the whole of Germany as you can see in the image below (or above).

However, since this was done for testing purposes, no passengers were on board during the flight. Yet, it is still a very refreshing and especially unique way of getting the Christmas spirit out there! More please.
